One of my FAVORITE things is life (crazy huh). I love the opportunities it brings, the people I get to meet, the adventures I get to go on and so on. There are so many things that I can experience and it's just plain wonderful. But sometimes I get too caught up in always wanting my amazing life to be busy and I find that happiness has become associated with busyness. "Make Everyday Worth Living" are 4 words that help me remember to make sure I enjoy every moment of my life. No matter what. To find joy in the little things and to take time to remember whats most important.Whether I'm having crazy adventures with my bffs, a long talk with my mom or just relaxing, I'm going to make every moment significant to me and everyday worth living.
God has blessed us with such a beautiful world. Thereis so much to see, so much to do and so much to love.Life has a way of making it hard to enjoy all those things, I often find myself rushing from one thing to the next and sometimes trials/stress seem to take over my life; making it hard to remember what's most important.
I love the story Dieter F. Utchdorf shared about the special bike rides he takes with his wife:
Sometimes it's nice to just take a breath and look around at all of Gods creations. To remember to slow down and take time to enjoy each moment. God sent us here so we can learn and grow. Rushing through life doesn't help us seize those great growing opportunities. Yes. Sometimes life is hard. Sometimes we don't want to be in certain situations. Nonetheless we are each put in here for a reason. God will never give us something we cannot handle and even when it seems overwhelming he is still there 100% of the way. If we look, we can find him in everything around us.
One of my favorite scriptures is found in D&C 88:
7... he is in the sun, and the light of the sun, and the power thereof by which it was made.
8. As also he is in the moon, and is the light of the moon, and the power thereof by which it was made
9. As also the light of the stars and the power thereof by which they were made;
10. And the earth also, and the power thereof, even the earth upon which you stand
11. And the light which shineth which giveth you light, is through him, who enlighteneth your eyes, which is the same light that quickeneth your understandings
12. Which light proceedeth forth from the presence of God to fill the immensity of space-
13. The light which is in all things, which giveth life to all things, which is the law by which all things are governed, even the power of God who sitteth upon his throne, who is the bosom of eternity, who is in the midst of all things
God is in everything around us. He created all things and his in everything good. If we just take the time to look, we will find him there. So make sure to take time to enjoy the moment. Don't get caught up in the busyness of life. Find God and appreciate all that he's done for us. and make sure to make every day worth living.

My wife, Harriet, and I love riding our bicycles. It is wonderful to get out and enjoy the beauties of nature. We have certain routes we like to bike, but we don’t pay too much attention to how far we go or how fast we travel in comparison with other riders.
However, occasionally I think we should be a bit more competitive. I even think we could get a better time or ride at a higher speed if only we pushed ourselves a little more. And then sometimes I even make the big mistake of mentioning this idea to my wonderful wife.
Her typical reaction to my suggestions of this nature is always very kind, very clear, and very direct. She smiles and says, “Dieter, it’s not a race; it’s a journey. Enjoy the moment.”
